Thursday Night Wine & Jazz...this is how the LIVE MUSIC started at The Blind Horse. We are stepping it up this year, bringing back your favorites and brining in new talent. We also have a new expanded food menu for the patio. Don't miss what everyone is talking about!
You are in for a huge treat on June 30. We are thrilled to bring Jamie Lynn Fletcher to the gazebo stage for the first and hopefully not the last time!
Jamie hails from the great frozen tundra of rural Wisconsin, USA. With a Bachelor's Degree in International Political Economics and a Master's degree in Broadcast Journalism, Jamie's logical career endeavor was to make a quick exit from political correspondence in Washington, DC and entertain the planet with her piano and vocals.
Music has taken Jamie to over 95 countries and territories, but she loves most her homeland USA where she has played jazz, funk, R&B, and pop from coast to coast, debuting also her original music project either solo or with her own band.
Work from her current album “My Desire of You” has recently been nominated for Jazz With Vocals in the international Independent Music Awards. You will find the new album on world-wide radio; and it is available for physical copy purchase at www.jamielynnfletcher.com and for digital download on CdBaby, iTunes, Amazon, and other online platforms.
Jamie has entertained many dignitaries such as former US President Jimmy Carter and British Prime Minister John Major, and also shared the stage with jazz greats such as Steve March-Tormé and Arturo Sandoval.
Having been bitten by the sea bug, Jamie also tours this fine planet via the Yachts of Seabourn, particularly when the tundra of Wisconsin famously freezes over and every avian species moves to Florida for the winter. She is passionate about chickens and will happily show you thousands of pictures of her exotic pet ‘feather people’. Just don’t ask her any political questions unless you have a month or two free for debate. In all, she describes herself as ‘a simple country girl from the Mid-West who enjoys her peace, and sometimes even… the snow.’
