Join us for a special food and wine pairing at The Blind Horse Restaurant on November 10 at 6:00 PM.   Executive Chef Brent Davis will prepare a seven course dinner for you with each course paired with wines from the award winning California winery Sturino Trotta. 

Sturino Trotta Cellars is a boutique California winery. Their philosophy is to produce highly stylistic, premium wines by hand in precious lots, sourcing every grape from exceptional vineyards. Their production is limited to less than 300 cases per year of each varietal.

Sturino Trotta has taken wines around the globe and blind taste-tested them against some of the most sought after brands in the world. Sturino Trotta wines have consistently been the preferred wine. Sturino Trotta was also selected from among 200 wineries to be featured on a nationally televised Emmy Award winning cooking show!

The evening begins at 6:00 PM in our winery tasting room where we will start the night with a champagne reception. The night continues in our elegant restaurant where you will be treated to a seven course food & wine pairing. Each course will be introduced by Jim Sturino and Executive Chef Brent Davis. The cost is $100 a person (does not include tax & tip.) 


Apple Salad Friseé - Friseé, orange white balsamic vinaigrette, apple brunoise, orange pearls, apple foam, macerated orange supreme, apple crème fraiche WINE: Homemade Prosecco

Pan Seared Truffle Honey Mahi - truffle honey parsnip puree, rutabaga and turnip ragout, crispy leeks WINE: Pinot Noir 2008

Winter Squash Bisque Soup - Buttercup puree, SarVecchio parmesan, spiced pumpkin seeds, parsley oil  WINE: Merlot 2008

Roasted Rabbit - Shaved castelvetrano olives, olive oil sponge cake, cracked black pepper crescenza cheese,  pickled pimento coulis, red wine rabbit jus WINE: Old Vine Zinfandel 2007

Risotto Cake - Pan fried Arborio rice, bacon lardons, trumpet and oyster mushrooms, hooks paradise blue cheese, balsamic reduction  WINE: Tesoro 2007

Slow Roasted Beef Short Ribs - Onion fennel relish, montamore mashed potatoes, maple glazed carrots, natural jus, fennel infused oil WINE: Cabernet Sauvignon Rutherford NV

Cranberry Clafoutis - Warm cranberry tart pastry, spun sugar, vanilla cinnamon gelato
